Yes. This TV is the poorest quality Vizio I have ever owned. I have had 4 Vizio's and this is my fifth. They were all good quality pictures and sound. The picture on the 50" M series is only average and not clear at any angle except straight ahead and the audio is very poor quality. Adjusting it doesn't seem to improve it. You will need to purchase a sound box to get decent sound.
