When you see your first HDR10 — or much better yet, Dolby Vision — movie, you won't want to look at "standard HD" ever again. ;) Still not a huge amount of HDR content out there (but getting better of late), so there's still plenty of time since your set is only 2 years old. Maybe OLED will be affordable in another 3-4 years, who knows — but OLED's decay and so will picture quality over time; this will not change due to the nature of the material. If you're stuck on the Sony brand, the XBR-55X850D is a good alternative to the P55-C1 (both are IPS panels), though the XBR has its own set of issues. Consider that the Sony does not (yet?) support Dolby Vision, doesn't have black levels as deep, and typically costs a little more than the P-series.
