I have been leaving my TV on the Standard Picture Setting, but I like my TV picture with less red in it,The Calibrated Setting seem to be a good setting for those who like the red in the picture This TV will upconvert the picture automatically close to 4K,it really depends on the type of signal the TV receives,I find the picture from my Bluray player with a Bluray DVD nothing short of awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It automatically upscales and as far as settings, you have 2 choices. There is no way for someone else's picture settings to be optimal for you because there will be a difference in the lighting in the room along with other factors so to have your Tv properly calibrated you would need to call in and pay a professional. Your other option which is the one I recommend is to play around and familiarize yourself with the settings and what they do. maybe even research things you have questions about and find settings that are right for you. The most important thing here is your own happiness because at the end of the day it's yours and you have to be happy with it.

It will walk you through all the settings on the TV. You can get the Disney WOW: World of Wonder from BestBuy's website. It's extremely user friendly and works on any TV with a BluRay player connected to it.
