QuestionI know this TV is 120hz effective refresh rate. But is that true 120hz or 60hz upscaled? I had a Phillips 120hz before this one and the Vizio just doesn't have the same clarity or brightness as the Phillips.

- Answer According to the sales guy it's only 60 hz as the number is misleading. I always thought the refresh rate and the true motion rate were different and you needed the highest refresh rate you could get.

- Answer The D Series is based on a Grade level through Vizio. My understanding was when I visited their website www.vizio.com I was able to make a comparison on which TV I wanted to buy before making my selection at Best Buy. I chose the Vizio E Series 55" class 4k HDR Smart TV (model # E55-F1) at Best Buy for price and Overall Best features.
