• No. They are in a fixed slot on the back of the tv with screws that hold them in place. They are 48" apart if my memory serves me correctly; no tape measure handy at this second.

• No, there are slots that the legs fit into, so they can only be placed in one fixed position.

• You can try insert the legs backwards, it gives you a smaller base.
