• well for I know and have being told is that mostly all 4K TV will convert a 1080 movie to 4k I owe 4 4k TV and they all look great

• Pretty sure HDMI 2 is the only one that upscales. On the back of the tv its marked "best". HDMI 1 has the "ARC". The other 2 are just standard HDMI

• 1st port is best option for 4K. All ports support it but the first port is made specifically for upscaling for 4K resolution.

• All 4 ports will up convert a lower quality signal. Only the first HDMI port can accept a native 4K signal with HDR input. The other 3 HDMI ports are version 1.4 only.
