• Nit is not refresh rate. A "nit" is another way to describe a brightness of 1 candela per square meter (cd/m2). An average candle produces roughly 1 candela. Now you know where the name comes from.

• 400 or 600 nits refers to brightness not refresh rate. Refresh rate for 600 is 120hz with clear actions 240hz
