Since it is an LG OLED panel, the peak brightness is pretty predictable. Unless it uses Panasonic's "special internal cooler" to pump brightness up to 1000 nits, the Vizio OLED will be between 650 (on the low end, similar to a B9) and 800 nits (on the high end similar to the C9), but likely around 700 to 750 (similar to the CX). All OLED TVs pretty much fall into this range and we don't expect the Vizio to be any different. Remember that over 800 nits, you will increase. your risk of burn-in (thus Panasonic's special cooler).
The pick brightness for the vizio oled is 800nits. The only vizios on this generation that have over 1000nits are the P85QX-H1, provides 3,000 nits of peak brightness, 792 local dimming zones, and will sell for $3,000. Both 75-inch ($2,000) and 65-inch ($1,500) models are also part of the P-Series Quantum X family and offer 480 and 384 local dimming zones and 2,800 and 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
Don't get judge by its brightness(marketing). Your eyes can see the difference when you see the movie and Its brightness is bright enough for each scenes.
I called OLED VISIO today and they said this will be G sync capable soon and also that the 55 inch has 1000nits and they dont know about the 65 inch. I thought this was too high as the highest i hear is 800 on the really good OLEDS
