Add-on streaming devices can be added to the TV with one of the HDMI ports on back of the TV. You will then want to adjust the input on the TV screen as well to the same HDMI port you plug the streaming device in to.

So the Roku stick would connect to the HDMI port, but you can use the USB to power it (versus running it directly to power). There's an option to keep the USB ports "always on" in the settings menu - reducing startup time when the TV comes on.
