240 ‘effective’ refresh rate - not sure what tha means but is 120. Just look up the specs online.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Vizio P65-E1 P-Series 65" Full Array LED Smart TV has a true native 120 Hz LED panel. This is currently the fastest native refresh rate for any LED display, regardless of manufacturer or stated refresh rates. The higher advertised refresh rates for most TVs are achieved using backlight flashing to mimic a higher refresh rate. This actually works quite well on most LED televisions and I alway recommend setting the Clear Action (or MotionFlow or whatever a TV maker calls it) to ON (or its highest setting). This really helps generate an image with more motion detail and smoothness when the screen displays an object in motion and a scene with camera panning.
