• Nope. Once you perform the update it will have the Netflix app on board. You’ll get available 4k programming from Netflix. But even better you will get it in dolby vision (HDR)

• This display has a built in Netflix application that is capable of watching content in 4K. You can also cast the content to the display and it will show in 4K as long as you have a Netflix subscription that includes 4K content.
