Best bang for the buck !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me just say... that for the $1599 I paid there is nothing on the market that can compare. You get what is pretty much standard now... Ultra 4k. But this tv goes a step further by future proofing you with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Then Vizio throws in local dimming, something found on higher end tv’s. The picture is fantastic. You can use some cailibrations found on the internet or tune her to your desire. The Vizio app you download on your phone makes it a snap to do so. I have spectrum cable and use the app on my ROKU ultra. Let me tell you it looks fantastic. The roku and tv combine to put out one heck of a clear picture. Yes the tv does have on board apps like Netflix Hulu etc but i prefer all of those apps on my roku ultra. I’ll explain why below. Now i left a star off because of some personal things I found to be annoying. I’ll list them 1. USB plug stays powered on even when the tv is shut off. So if you plan on adding some usb powered bias lighting make sure you have a remote. 2. I use a roku because the on board o/s is laggy and slow to respond. Yes you can cast from your phone but meh. If you have the patience for it then you will be treated to Dolby vision ( if you have the upgraded Netflix account ). Roku ultra will give you hdr10 which is just as sexy. 3. The tv only has one hdmi input that allows for hdr10/dolbyvision. The other three will Only give you basic 4k. 4. thickness of the unit. This takes away from the overall sexiness of the tv. Do not get distracted by the name, Vizio is better than you think. I came back to Vizio for my choice because of the value and workmanship. I still have a 37 inch lcd that is about ten years old made by Vizio in my sons room. Going strong. I recommend !

Great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been pursuing a large TV for the past few years and finally decided to pull the trigger on this one due to the great price for size and features. I'm very happy with the display and I'd say that a sound system of some kind is mandatory due to weak on board speakers. My largest issue is the terrible glare we get off the screen, the OLEDs do not suffer as much from the glare and might be better if you can afford it, in general just make sure to place it away from strong direct light. Great TV that didn't break the budget!

BEAUTIFUL, but Cord Cutters BEWARE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an absolutely beautiful display. The blacks are amazingly dark and the colors are gorgeous. Plus its HUGE which is awesome. But cord cutters need to beware...this is NOT a TV. It's actually just a really large display. Vizio has gotten around the gov't mandate requiring a coax input to allow for OTA channels by listing this as a display. Since we dropped cable almost a year ago and having been pulling local channels with a Mohu antenna, we were more than a bit disappointed to find that we had to purchase another device to get locals on this new TV. One more remote I had hoped I was eliminating. I'd give this 5 stars and then some if I didn't feel a little hoodwinked over the coax input not being there. We also experience a display failure within a few days of having the TV delivered (it was too big to pick up but delivery was free). A line appeared on the display. But Vizio customer service was GREAT and got us a replacement within 1.5 weeks.

Great 75” for the price but beware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked up many reviews and for the price you cannot beat this 75” with Dolby Vision! But buyer beware for those of you using the tv for 4K Dolby Vision or hdr 10 there is only one!And I repeat one! HDMI 2.0a port on the tv. The rest are 1.4 ports which means you can only get 4K without hdr on the other 3 ports. I had to buy a 50$ HDMI switch so I could plug in my Apple TV 4K and Xbox one x coming out. Still a great tv though for the price! Also beware if you are online gaming that this tv has high latency. 45 ms when gaming mode is tuned on. If you don’t need a 76” and are looking for a great budget 4K, get the tcl 55” p series! Amazing tv for the price and perfect for gaming. Has 72 dimming zones, all 2.0a ports and fantastic picture!!

Outstanding TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially looking at Sony and Samsung but after seeing that this Vizio was getting better reviews in the price range, I figured I'd give it a try. I have no regrets. Dolby Vision and 4k content look fantastic. Setup was easy. My only gripe would be that the smart interface is just a bit slow when navigating through apps. I've since added Apple TV, Fire TV and Ruku so this is not an issue. Also, this set only has one HDMI port that supports 2.2 (needed for 4k, HDR etc) so make sure you pair it with a capable home theater receiver if you plan on having multiple 4k devices.

Great value, Poor SMART option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to replace my 2015 M70-C3 due to a screen issue. There was no comparable replacement so I opted to "upgrade" rather than get one that was lower quality. The M70-C3 was great. The picture quality of this one is a lot better. I was actually pretty impressed. The down side of this tv is the poor SMART options. I HATE being limited to having to have a tablet or phone with chromecast capability in order to use this function as I do not have these items. My old tv had the apps built in and it was MUCH better. If an efficient SMART ability is a must, this tv is not for you. I wish Vizio would go back to the C-3 SMART technology. Size and picture quality is a great value in this model though. I am content with the purchase but I may look at other brands if I have to replace again in the future unless of course they resolve this particular issue. I have been loyal to Vizio but I would probably consider other options if I really wanted decent SMART.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV!! Easy to set up! And the picture is excellent!! Had this for about 2 weeks now. The HDR is awesome once I figured out there was only one HDMI port that supported HDR. And also was $1999 and went on sale for 24 hrs for $1798 took my receipt in and the difference was put back on my card!!

Q: QuestionHDMI 1 600MHz pixel rate: 2160p@60fps, 4:4:4, 8-bit | 2160p@60fps, 4:2:2, 12-bit | 2160p@60fps, 4:2:0, 12-bit HDMI 2-4 340MHz pixel rate: 2160@60fps 4:2:0, 8 bit Since HDMI 1 is the ARC the other inputs aren't fully specced for a UHD player at 10bits ?
Asked by Eilzair.
- A:Answer Yep. That's my ONLY complaint about this beauty. What you need to do is count the number of UHD & HDR inputs you will be using. Purchase a splitter/switch (some offer a small output amp to keep the signal up) that features as many HDMI 2.0 inputs as you need. Then you select whichever of those to watch at the moment. It's the only simple way to overcome Vizio's "miss" when they didn't engineer each HDMI to be 2.0b. BTW There is a simpler way to deal with it if you have a 4K UHD A/V Receiver: Just connect all of your inputs to the rear of the receiver, then connect the output to your TV! My Denon doesn't just "pass through" the video signal (which would work just fine too) in upgrades the signal quality (resolution) to "near 4K". It even upconverts 480P signals to 1080, then a different process engine gets to work on the 1080 signal to bring it as close to 4K as possible. Your TV will still attempt to improve the video signal to 4K. This is a well made display with an incredible picture. Just be sure to use C-NET's values for calibrating the picture once you have completed setup. I'm confident you will love it for years to come. ;-)

Q: QuestionI have dolby atmos, dolby vision supported denon reciever, So I am not worried about it is having just one hdmi2 port. However if i play vudu app from the tv, can i pass through the dolby atmos sounds to the receiver?is arc & hdmi2 port are same?
Asked by hozz.
- A:Answer Only HDMI port 1 has ARC
Answered by Duro
Q: QuestionWhat does HDMI 1 being the only port with ARC mean? What am I limited from doing?
Asked by TVDork.
- A:Answer Typically, on a TV there are two types of ports, inputs & outputs. Inputs are intended to bring video and audio 'IN' to the TV. Outputs are intended to take audio 'OUT' of the TV, in order to be sent to a sound bar or audio system. ARC is a technology that allows an HDMI to be an input or an output. So if you are connecting a sound bar through HDMI you would have to use HDMI 1 to get audio 'OUT' of the TV to the sound bar.
