Q: What are the width and depth dimensions of the stand?
A: The distance between the outer stand legs is 55.48" and it is 10.58" deep.
A: Yep. That's my ONLY complaint about this beauty. What you need to do is count the number of UHD & HDR inputs you will be using. Purchase a splitter/switch (some offer a small output amp to keep the signal up) that features as many HDMI 2.0 inputs as you need. Then you select whichever of those to watch at the moment. It's the only simple way to overcome Vizio's "miss" when they didn't engineer each HDMI to be 2.0b. BTW There is a simpler way to deal with it if you have a 4K UHD A/V Receiver: Just connect all of your inputs to the rear of the receiver, then connect the output to your TV! My Denon doesn't just "pass through" the video signal (which would work just fine too) in upgrades the signal quality (resolution) to "near 4K". It even upconverts 480P signals to 1080, then a different process engine gets to work on the 1080 signal to bring it as close to 4K as possible. Your TV will still attempt to improve the video signal to 4K. This is a well made display with an incredible picture. Just be sure to use C-NET's values for calibrating the picture once you have completed setup. I'm confident you will love it for years to come. ;-)
A: This display does support both HDR10 and Dolby Vision content through streaming and HDMI 1
A: Only HDMI port 1 has ARC
Q: What does HDMI 1 being the only port with ARC mean? What am I limited from doing?
A: Typically, on a TV there are two types of ports, inputs & outputs. Inputs are intended to bring video and audio 'IN' to the TV. Outputs are intended to take audio 'OUT' of the TV, in order to be sent to a sound bar or audio system. ARC is a technology that allows an HDMI to be an input or an output. So if you are connecting a sound bar through HDMI you would have to use HDMI 1 to get audio 'OUT' of the TV to the sound bar.
Q: Do I have to purchase the 4k fire stick to watch netflex in HD 4K?
A: Nope. Once you perform the update it will have the Netflix app on board. You’ll get available 4k programming from Netflix. But even better you will get it in dolby vision (HDR)
Q: Is this TV compatible with wePresent and can it be used as a monitor connected to a laptop or PC?
A: Yes, you can connect a PC to this TV.
Q: Does this TV support Amazon Alexa?
A: No, it supports Google home.
