There is no os built in. It casts from the android remote. If the Google app can cast, then it can play on the TV. It has both optical out and ARC. Amazon is currently in a war with Google over casting so as of right now, no amazon. The picture in calibrated mode blows away Sony and Samsung (I also own a Samsung).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Everything is on the tablet nothing on the TV. It has an ARC out and an optical out. The tablet can do anything a regular tablet can do such as surfing the web. However, if you want to watch something on your TV it has to be able to be cast. You can cast Amazon and Netflix but only in 1080P the limit of the tablet. Had these apps been on the TV you could watch 4k programing. As for your receiver, unless it is very new, you need to buy a new one that supports 4k.The only other things you can do is too hook up a computer, if it has a video card that can handle 4k or buy a Samsung ultra UHD blue ray player that has the apps built in.
