• A:Answer The tv already has HDR in the form of Dolby Vision. There are two current formats of HDR, they include Dolby Vision and HDR10. Currently it has Dolby Vision and will get HDR10 via firmware.

• A:Answer The P series will have more dimming zones than the M series. You can compare models on the Vizio webesite, or call the support or chat, and they can give you a more precise answer.

Q: Question3 QuestionsDoes it have a browser? Come with Amazon app? Can it play TV apps through an AV receiver? My Samsung has an optical out for this and an ARC out if you have an ARC capable receiver.

• A:Answer There is no os built in. It casts from the android remote. If the Google app can cast, then it can play on the TV. It has both optical out and ARC. Amazon is currently in a war with Google over casting so as of right now, no amazon. The picture in calibrated mode blows away Sony and Samsung (I also own a Samsung).

• A:Answer First, it's not a TV, it's a 4K Monitor with Audio/Visio inputs. It has no tuner. It does however support Google "casting". So you can Cast from a Smartphone/Tablet/PC(using Chrome). It is NOT a Smart TV as people usually define the term.

Q: QuestionThis TV does not have any HDMI 2.0a inputs. Does this mean that one can't fully utilize 4K BD players with HDMI 2.0a output to enjoy HDR?

• A:Answer You don't need 2.0a but it is coming anyways in a firmware update. Wait to buy the 4K bluray player as the price will go down. Also content is still very limited, By the holidays you will have more selections. Also remember you will be able to buy 4K movies in the future from Amazon, Apple etc...DVD players will eventually go the way of yesterday's news, Streaming is the future!

Q: QuestionIn order to use your smartphone or tablet to cast 4k HDR content to the display, does the smartphone or tablet have to support 4k or HDR resolution or can a Netflix app on a 1080p smartphone work as well?

• A:Answer Your smart phone or tablet only sends the display the url to fetch and the display does the rest. Basically the tablet just sends the display the command. So no it doesn't matter if the phone or tablet supports 4k or hdr.

• A:Answer You can watch 4K media the following ways: 4K/UHD bluray player through HDMI 4K capable app (amazon,neflix,vudu,youtube) on an external device such as a 4K/UHD blurry player or an Xbox one S through HDMI Cable service through 4K capable hardware like an HDFury through HDMI Casting 4K from Netflix or Vudu, etc. (but NOT Amazon) from the include android tablet Certain files types (MP4) will play from a USB stick, but there is not control interface with this method. Files will autoplay in order, no directories or control of the playback From a computer over HDMI

Q: QuestionDoes TV picture quality depend on the wired ethernet connection on the TV or on the wireless connection on the remote? The TV casts from the remote, but does this mean it also uses the remote connection speed??

• A:Answer You can cast in 4k. The tablet only sends the tv the url to fetch. The guy above is incorrect. The resolution of the tablet has nothing to do with the resolution capabilities of the tv.
