No Vizio is done with 3D, Samsung has also gotten rid of 3D, Sony has vastly scaled down their 3D offerings in 2016 and LG is slightly scaled back from 2016. Also UHD BD has no support for 3D. If you're attached to 3D it appears it is going to be harder and harder to find a set that supports it in the coming years.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To the best of my knowledge, there is no plan to support 3D since only a small minority of all TV buyers actually use that feature now (Internet has tons of articles on the reason 3D fizzled...again...think 1950's). Over the next few years I expect other manufactures will also phase it out from what I've read. Kind of like curved TV's...it's selling point for marketers. Had a 3D TV myself, watched a one or two titles and frankly didn't like it very much nor did the rest of my family and haven't used it since. Maybe sell your movies? Just a thought.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am in the same boat as you are. I have a lot of 3D movies and I absolutely love 3D. Soon as Sony fixes sticker problem with the 930D's I am getting that tv. the 65 inch model. The sticker says power cord is rated for in wall use, but it is a power brick so it is not intended for in wall and Best Buy would not sell me the tv until they get replacements. they had to ship them back lol. And to anyone who bought before they found that out, they are sending the Sony Reps out to change out the stickers lol. So now I have to wait, sigh
