• The tv already has HDR in the form of Dolby Vision. There are two current formats of HDR, they include Dolby Vision and HDR10. Currently it has Dolby Vision and will get HDR10 via firmware.

• Yes it has HDR just doesn't have the HDR10 (yet). That is coming in an update in August. It currently is set to run Dolbyvision but many 4k blurays don't have that yet. Once it updates, this will run both Dolbyvision and the HDR10 which none of the competition will do.

• It has it via firmware update. If your TV doesn't have it the update will done automatically.
