Hello JDdelgado, All other HDMI inputs except HDMI1 ARC/eARC port do not send out any signal. They are inputs only. Optical S/PDIF can support it using TOSLINK cable.

HDMI ARC on this set can pass through compressed surround like Dolby Digital from HDMI inputs. It can do 5.1 uncompressed via eARC (Receiver must support ARC)
