This should work as long as you are using HDMI-ARC or Optical.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Frontier FIOS and my remote was automatically detected by my sounder during setup. One piece of info is that I previously had Verizon FIOS and when they did the switch with Frontier I kept the same equipment. Good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should be able to control volume as long as your remote has programmable audio button on your remote. I turned my tv volume off and used the soundbar only. Hopefully this helps you
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes that is how we control ours. FYI I have had this sound bar and surround for about three weeks and it is truely wonderful! I am directly comparing this to my 7.1 Denon and Kef setup and I do not prefer one over the other for sound. I almost prefer this setup over the Denon because the sub for the viseo is so compact and blutooth and I was able to fit it inside and under my couch. It adds a theater like feel to the bass I can't get with my other setup.
