Is the product suitable for a 55' Vizo TV ? null

Yes, I have it working with a 55" Samsung TV.

It will work just fine, but if you are looking for something that would line up flush with the edges of the TV you will need to go with a longer model.

I'm using mine on a 55" Samsung. It works fine and is a big help for the lower volume you seem to get from flat panel TV's.
