The size of the sound bar makes the surround a little better, and the speakers are allowed to be bigger, but 2 inches is really just to match your tv size for aesthetics. The more extensive one has google cast included, do you can stream music and video sound from your phone, computer, or tablet. The sub is a good size. Great sound.
