• Correct. You have to switch it to use the appropriate function, just as you would on your TV to use appropriate attached device.

• You are correct. You can only use 1 input at a time and you can choose which input to use by selecting it from the remote included with the soundbar.

• You can have multiple things hooked up to it but only use one at a time. It only allows you to use one imput at a time.
