Q: QuestionHow come my vizio SB3651.E6 satellite speakers have no sound?

• A:Answer I just went through the same scenario and only bought the sound bar package 5 days ago. Today I noticed that everything worked but the satellite speakers. So, I re-paired everything with no success. I have the solution. Fortunately, I also have a VIZIO television and read the TV manual which told me to put the audio output on BITSTREAM for any sound system over 2 speakers. I had it on PCM. Voila - not only was the problem solved, but also the sound is much better.

Q: QuestionI have a 2017 LG 65" 4k tv. Does the soundbar's SmartCast function only do audio apps, or will it do video apps as well on the televisions display using the ARC setup for video streaming? LG does not have the CBS All Access app that I need.

Q: QuestionWhat happens if I turn on TV while soundbar is playing bluetooth audio? Does hdmi/optical connection take precedence over bluetooth? Can it keep the bluetooth connection (e.g. from an Echo device) and switch back to it when wired connection goes offline?

• A:Answer The HDMI ARC input will override the bluetooth connection. When switching back to bluetooth you would need to repair the device connected.

Q: QuestionIs the subwoofer supposed to power on automatically when you power on the soundbar? I am having to manually power on the subwoofer every time I power on the soundbar with the remote. I have the subwoofer next to my couch, and have re-synced with soundbar.

• A:Answer Try re-enabling ECO mode on the sound bar - there appears to be a firmware bug where disabling ECO mode prevents the subwoofer from waking up in some instances.

• A:Answer Guys what I have learned about the sound bar is that a multi channel is better for sound and for clearer hearing. For the price this is a great buy. If you have the money buy a better one. If you do not have the money then this is the one for you. I like this one, but would advice spending the money on a better one. I recommend atom Dolby.

• A:Answer A “lot of bass” I guess could be somewhat subjective however I find that it has great sound and enough bass for me. I’m in to movies and my husband is the music player and he seems very happy with the bass. As a matter fact it’s pretty strong we keep it at right around mid level hope that helps

Q: QuestionHow does this normally handle source material that is not surround encoded? Can it be set automatically so that true surround sources are played through all speakers, and anything less just goes to 2.1 with the rears off?

• A:Answer I use an nvidia shield tv with my sound bar. I think this has to do with your steaming devices or tv. I get 5.1 when the content is 5.1 and 2.1 when the content is not 5.1 automatically. There’s an option on my shield to make all 2.1 into 5.1. I can turn this feature on and off. But for the most part my shield will do it automatically.

• A:Answer I have a PS4 and this soundbar. I have the PS4 connected to my TV and then the audio out of the TV going to the soundbar. You shouldn't have to connect the Xbox directly to the soundbar.
