“When I purchased this unit I specifically asked about the sound. Getting older and need to hear better. Now that I hook up the unit, I find out no VOICE will come out of rear speakers, just background music. Why have it at all”

The satellite speakers will help to create an immersive experience. To increase the voices in a program you may want to increase the center channel as this will help with the voices.
