I believe that input is only for sound. However, you could use an HDMI splitter for the inputs to the TV and keep the HDMI ARC port connected to the sound bar and I suspect it would work. I linked a product as an example but there are other ones if you have a brand preference.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your goal is to get surround sound from all your devices playing through the soundbar, you will need to purchase an HDMI switch. The devices (Sony Blu-Ray, Direct TV, and PS4 would cable into the switch. The output port of the HDMI switch would go to the soundbar. And the output of the soundbar would go into one of your HDMI inputs on your LG TV. All sound will play through the soundbar from all devices... it is a sweet setup. No longer will you change your input on the TV, it will always be a single HDMI port (like HDMI-1) Hope that helps (oops, just noticed how old this post is... probably too late to help)
