- Answer Every time I use the voice option it wants to search the Roku app and individual apps. I have not used it with Netflix though.

- Answer If the soundbar is plugged into an HDTV via HDMI cable, the Roku remote SHOULD control the soundbar. That's my setup, and it works great. I used to have a soundbar connected into another HDTV, via optical cable, and the Roku remote also controlled that.

- Answer More than likely it should work especially if you have a newer Roku tv. Look in your menu section on your Roku tv to see if you have an option to add remote. You have to click on a small button in the battery compartment on this remote so that it will pair with the TV. If you see this option it should work. This remote connects via network instead of IR. Much nicer connection.

QuestionWe have a 3811X (3811R) with a bad remote, looking for a replacement. It'll need to be one with a headphone jack like the 3811X came with. If this isn't the remote we need, what one do we buy?

- Answer The remote you're looking for that comes with BestBuy's 3811X, the one with a 3.5mm headphone jack, is a Model# RC-AL8 / Part# 3226000703. This remote is exclusive to the 3811X and for some reason BestBuy does NOT sell it separately. Roku offers the RC-AL9 on their website (when they have it in stock), but it's half the price of the 3811X. Most people needing to replace the remote, if it's not damaged, buy a new 3811X and swap out the remote, returning the 3811X as defective. It's not the most honest way of replacement, but until BestBuy steps up and exclusively offers the RC-AL8, there's few options.
