General All of our heaters are designed to work indoors and not in colder areas like a garage. Page 4 of the owner’s guide addresses this: INTENDED USE: This product is intended to heat and circulate the air in indoor living spaces only. This product is not intended for commercial or industrial use. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damage or injury due to unauthorized use or product modification. Failure to follow these directions will void the product warranty. The insert that comes with all heaters which states that the heaters need to be brought to room temperature before being used. Basically, while the VH202 heaters may work in the cold garage some of the time, as you’ve stated, they are not designed to do so.
