• A:Answer I wouldn't recommend it as it is designed to fit inside the window itself. The profile is very slom and doesn't reduce windowsill space much if at all.

• A:Answer The Transom Window Fan is designed for horizontal installation only. Using it in the vertical orientation will put a strain on the motor and could affect the output and longevity.
