I wouldn't recommend it as it is designed to fit inside the window itself. The profile is very slom and doesn't reduce windowsill space much if at all.

I tried that and was not successful. You might have to improvise in order to achieve what you want.

Our Window Fans are designed for horizontal installation only. Using it in the vertical or upside-down orientation can put a strain on the motor and could affect the output and longevity.
