- Answer To my knowledge, it cannot record. But, it does come with an AC adapter for each of its units.

QuestionHow are these Baby Motion devices powered? AC plug adapter, or AA Batteries?

- Answer The transmitter that is left with the baby is powered only by a AC wall plug in. The two monitors have rechargeable batteries so it is really convenient to have them set up in any particular room that you are in charging and then when you need to leave the room both monitors have a clip so you can carry the monitors with you wirelessly.

- Answer Hi - The VTech DM221-2 has a talkback feature. If someone is using the other parent unit to talk to the baby, the voice will also be broadcasted to the other parent unit. During this period, no sound will transmit from the baby unit to any parent unit. QuestionWe have 2 children in separate rooms. We are thinking of buying 2 sets of baby monitors - 1 for each child's room. If we buy 2 sets of these vtech monitors, will they interfere with each other?

- Answer Hi - No, there will be no interference as long as the VTech DM221 are installed on separate rooms and are far away from each other. - Answer Monitor 4 rooms, or monitor FROM 4 different rooms. I THINK 2 sets could monitor one "parent monitor" FROM 4 different rooms. I do not think they would monitor 4 rooms. I also don't know whether or not you can use 2 parental monitors in the same system--- don't think so, but not sure
