“How far from the base can the handsets be I was wondering how far from the base that is plugged to the phone line the other handsets can be”

• We have a four bedroom house and have the main base in the kitchen and one of the units is in the garage. We've walked outside and all around the yard with the handset without losing the signal. I don't know how many feet you need, but this is about 200-250 feet away.
