• Hi - Yes, the compatible accessory cordless handset for the VTech CS6729 is the model VTech CS6709. You will need to register the VTech CS6709 to the main base of the VTech CS6729. Here's the procedure on how to register the handset to the telephone base. Step 1. Place a non-registered handset in the telephone base. Do not place the handset in the charger. Step 2. After about 10 seconds, the handset displays "Registering...". When the registration process completes, the handset displays Registered and you will hear a beep. Please be advised that the VTech CS6729 is expandable up to 5 handsets only. Thank you! -VTech Support
