I have a vtech 6649 system. Is the 6909 Compatible? null

can I get a 6609 or6909 replacement handheld for a c-6649-2 v-tech phone?

If the CS6949 is CS6949-2, with a landline base and a cordless, the answer is no. The instructions in my CS6949-2 said you could. This is wrong. I just wasted $28 Canadian in buying the CS6909 which you cannot pair. The new add on phone must be able to sit in a Base to register. There is no base on a landline for the CS 6909 to sit in.
