• To repy to a previous answer... No, the 6909 model does not work with 6949 model. The 6909 expansion phone needs the "home base' phone to be a cordless base. The 6949 is a corded base and you cant "register" the 6909 to the corded home base. To register the expansion 6909, you have to place it on the home base.
