“Can you use this unit with a fax? We need something that can be programmed to pick up after a number of rings. For example, for an incoming fax the call would be picked up at 4 rings and for a voicemail it would pick up at 6 rings. Thanks for your help!”

Hi - The VTech CS6949 will work with a fax machine. However, the unit does not have the capability to distinguish fax signals from regular calls. This should be programmed to your fax machine. You may contact the fax manufacturer for setup. Thank you for your interest! ~VTech Support
