Paring to cellphone is optional and had to be set up to work. Does not pair automatically unless set up to do so.

Please try again later.shoppinggirl478 - The VTech DS6771-3 has an auto connect feature that allows a cell phone already in the device list to reconnect when the cell device comes within range of the base and the Bluetooth is turned on. The base will not attempt to reconnect unless your cell device is moved out of range and back in range again. Thank you! - VTech Support
