KidiBuzz must be connected to a wireless network for the messaging app KidiConnect to work and for your child to surf the web, however; the camera features, music player, and games are all available offline.

  • QuestionI ended up with a used one of these, and it is locked. How do I unlock it without the pin or access to the email account it was registered with? I have tried the instructions for resetting the original version, but have not been successful.

    • Answer Hi, at the Parental account=On the passcode screen type the numbers 9876543210. After the first 4 numbers you enter, you'll get a message that the code you entered is incorrect. Keep typing the numbers in sequence until you get to 0. Reach out to us at 1-800-521-2010

  • QuestionI'm a bit confused; I see some answers that says both yes and no about being able you access YouTube. Can you please clarify if YouTube is accessible. Also, is it a wifi plan available for device so that when we are out it's workable.

    • Answer Yes, You can download you tube through the parents app, there are a few steps that you have to go through. Wifi has to be available, I don't know of any plans available for the device itself. Hope this helps...

    • Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Games for the KiddiBuzz G2 can be downloaded from Step 1: Apps purchased from Learning Lodge® can be downloaded through the VTech App Manager. To access the VTech App Manager, touch the avatar in the upper left corner of your child's Home screen, then touch the Parents icon to enter Parent Settings. Step 2: Select "VTech App Manager" from the Parent Settings menu. Step 3: Touch one of the icons at the top to select the content type. Then touch the Refresh icon in the upper right corner to check for any new purchases. Step 4: You should see your new purchases once the list has refreshed.They will automatically start to download. If they do not, just touch the download icon next to the app. Step 5: Once your purchases have downloaded, you can find them in your child's profile by selecting the corresponding content type from the child's Home screen. Games downloaded from Learning Lodge® will be found in the "Learning Games" folder; e-Books will be found in the "E-Books" folder; music in the "Music" folder; and videos in the "Videos" folder.
