• MFB = Multi-function Button I think the arrows you refer to are volume up and down

• The mfb means multi-function button for taking calls, play or pause a audio track, and initiate a voice command to respond to your voice! The arrow on the front right side to play the next audio track, and the arrow on the back right side is for restart the current track or go to a previous track! I hope this answers your question!
