It should, the stylus is able to adapt to the different touch screens out there. HP Laptops use a "digitizer" style touch screen which is NOT the same as Apple products, Cell phones, etc. that use a "capacitive" style screen. Simply follow the included directions to sync the stylus to your Laptop's Bluetooth and give it a try. If it doesn't work immediately, push the side button for a few seconds (you'll see a blue light) and try again. (this changes the pen's ability to be recognized by the screen). If for some reason it still doesn't work, you can try to go to the bamboo website and check the drivers. The website will say they don't have drivers for HP laptops (don't know why), but they actually do work. And of course, if all else fails, keep your receipt, and bring in your laptop to the Geek Squad. They found a deep down setting on my wife's laptop that was interfering with her Bamboo pen, and now it works perfectly.
