Q: QuestionI'm interested in getting this product. However, I have a new gaming computer that doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. This is listed in the system requirements. I know this is for the included software but can I download it from the manufacturer's site?

• A:Answer All of the associated software can be downloaded. The driver is downloaded directly from Wacom's site and then the optional bundled software is made available online after registration is complete.

• A:Answer The tablet itself should work fine with graphics, however, if you are trying to animate, what you need to analyze is the software you are using. I know many programs allow animation or onion skin mode, such as Firealpaca. Other free programs exist as well

Q: Questioni have a deformity and need a replacement for a typical mouse, would this do well to replace the mouse function? by mouse function i mean like clicking app icons, clicking the scroll bar on webpages and moving it up and down. like normal mouse stuff.

• A:Answer The Wacom Intuos works great as a mouse replacement. When you hover the pen over the surface of the tablet it will control your cursor on-screen. Touching the pen to the surface performs a 'click'. This mimics the behavior of using a pen on paper, in that touching the pen to the paper begins writing. The buttons on the pen can be configured to perform other actions as well, including right-click, scroll, double-click, etc.

• A:Answer I assume you obtained your answer by now but the main difference is the connections. The more expensive version does not have to be connected to the computer via usb. The lower priced models require a physical connection. There are some other differences in the buttons and some functions but the connection is the main difference.
