I literally bought my daughter this for Christmas due to the same line of thinking. Don't do it, the software is janky, our display didn't even work, it's not portable as it has to be plugged in to a wall outlet and a display. Utter garbage, I recommend staying away from this one and instead just find a tablet and install IBIS paint.
