• In addition to the other answers, I suggest wearing rubber gloves to enable a better grip. Maybe have another person tap the middle as you pull. If you pinch too hard in the wrong place, that will make it more difficult. Also note that the battery is not an ordinary AAA size, but is an ENERGIZER L92 ULTIMATE LITHIUM 4 AAA. An ordinary AAA would probably work in a pinch, but will not give long time service.

• The top portion lifts up to separate from the bottom, like a pen with a cap.

• With the cutting head removed, pull the two pieces of the trimmer apart (plastic and metal pieces). This will expose the battery compartment. If you need more help, If you need more help, please email Wahl at [email protected]
