• about 5 inches by 20 inches and fairly light, so I think it would be easy enough for backpacking

• It is incredibly compact! About 2.5’ long and 5” in diameter. It’s very light too. It comes in a nice zippered carrying case. It can fit in a backpack if you let the end stick out a little.
