  • QuestionIs it waterproof in case it rains?

    Asked by OutdoorEnthusiast.

    • Answer The company says: Water resistant- The 190T polyester with polyurethane on the tent body and the detachable rain fly help to ensure water does not get inside your tent. The taped seams add another layer of rain proof protection for an enjoyable, and dry, trip! Water resistant- In my experience "Water Resistant" is NOT Water PROOF. And do NOT touch the inside of a Water Resistant tent. Instant leak. I've got one of these, but never been rained on ( Texas, we do that). But I do have an extra waterproof tarp to do the lean-to thing over the tent. I used to camp in the swamps of Georgia, so I've done the soaking wet thing. Live & learn. Wool & a Poncho & a box of Hot Hands.
