- Answer Hello, The width of each side piece of the desk is 31-1/2" and the depth is 19-3/4". It's not recommended to separate it into to separate desks, but it is possible. Sincerely, Melissa

- Answer Hi! Thank you for your question. Per panel, we recommend staying below 50LBS if possible. Overall, the piece can heavier weights (120 LBS) if spread across multiple panels. Hopefully that helps! Thank you!
