“Do the claw legs need to be used? Or can you have the stand’s base on the floor instead?”

Hi Kev, It's possible that this could be used on the floor instead of attaching the claw legs. We wouldn't be able to guarantee the weight capacity as we have not tested for this TV console to be modified in this way.
