Hi Jllly, Unfortunately, a fireplace insert is not compatible with this TV stand. We do carry other similar fireplace TV stands. Those can be found by searching with either of these SKU #s in the Best Buy Search bar: 6376535 or 6376464. If you're looking for a white finish in a different style, try searching these SKU #'s in the search bar: 5947381 or 5947400. Hope this helps!
