A:Answer Did this start happening when you first changed the filter? If not, and if you have changed the filter in the recommended time, I doubt it is due to the filter. Our water and ice stopped working at about year 7 but a repairman was able to replace a broken part and fix for about $100. If you did just change the filter, take it out and put it back in again. Maybe it was not put in correctly.
