Q: Questionneed a filter replacement for LG model lrsc21951st
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Just take off the old filter and the filter number you need will be printed on the side of the old filter. Simply take the old filter, or better yet, take a picture of the filter number and go as fast as you can to the nearest Best Buy and go to the LG filter kiosk in the refrigerator section and you will find it!!! You got this!!!

Q: QuestionFilter won't lock in placeI am replacing a used filter with the same filter type I used last time, but I can't get it to lock in place. I didn't notice anything unusual when I removed the used filter, but the replacement won't seat. The O rings slip into the receptical, but the receptical doesn't recede into the housing so nubs can slip into thier nooks and lock---the filter continually turns clockwise. I don't want to use too much force pushing the receptical into the housing, but nothing is moving with reasonable pressure. Could something have slipped out of place within the housing? We have had the refrigerator 1 year and 1 month! This is the third time I have replaced the filter, and the first time I have had any problem.

- A:Answer The same thing has happened to me. It seems that after the first couple of times of replacing it, it wont catch just like you're explaining. It does take a little elbow grease to make sure it goes up and then locks after turning it about 1/4 turn. Good luck. Don't let that keep you from replacing it in the future.
