• I'm not sure if the whitening tablet is the same as the cleaning tablet. But either way, my impression is that one simply drops the tablet into the water reservoir and let it do its job from a loose position. Certainly on the "500" model there is no special slot for a whitener tablet of any sort. Just put the tablet into the reservoir and leave it dissolve.

• this model has a water reservoir. Wouldn't you think the tablets would dissolve in the water.
