“Can the water portion be turned on and off for longer brushing with toothpaste?”

• Yes...it has 2 different buttons. 1 for brushing and 1 for flossing AND if you push brushing while you are flossing you can do both. The water won't come out until you push the floss button.

• Yes, you can control the brush and water jet with separate buttons. So you can start with brush only, then turn on the water jet to rinse while keeping the brush on.
